Hello beautiful women,
My name is Fajah, and today I want to talk to you about something that concerns many of us: cellulite. Over the years, I have come to realize that we are so much more than a superficial image or a few dimples on our legs. We are beautiful, complex beings with stories, experiences, and strengths that go much deeper than our skin.
What is cellulite?
Let's first delve deeper into what cellulite actually is. Cellulite occurs when fat deposits push through the connective tissue beneath our skin, resulting in the well-known 'dimples' or 'indentations.' Although it is often seen as undesirable, it is a completely normal phenomenon. Interestingly, the presence of cellulite is largely genetically determined, meaning it doesn't always have a direct correlation with our lifestyle or fitness level.
Body Types: Ectomorph, Mesomorph, and Endomorph
Our body type can also influence where and how fat is stored, and consequently, the appearance of cellulite. There are three well-known body types:
- Ectomorph: People with this body type are often slender with low body fat and muscle mass. They struggle to gain weight.
- Mesomorph: This body type has an athletic build, with a good balance of muscle and body fat.
- Endomorph: People with this body type often have a rounder or softer build and can store fat more easily. I myself fall into this category. It has given me beautiful buttocks, but unfortunately, some cellulite as well.
The Journey to Self-Love
I'll admit it... I've been ashamed of my cellulite for years, but over time, I've learned to embrace it. In the past year, I haven't used cupping on my skin, and it was visible, but instead of feeling ashamed, I felt like the happiest woman on this planet—with cellulite. Because I've learned that self-love is not dependent on how I look.
By loving ourselves exactly as we are, with all our 'imperfections,' we become whole. And when we are whole, we open the door to incredible possibilities and opportunities in our lives.
So yes, if I choose to cup, I know that my cellulite will likely be less next year. That's my choice, made out of love and not out of shame.
You are beautiful just as you are
Dear women, remember that you are so much more than your appearance. Your worth is not determined by the presence or absence of cellulite. Embrace yourself, love yourself, and know that you are beautiful exactly as you are.
With all my love,
