Extensive product information
Vitamin D can be produced by the body itself under the influence of sunlight. 10 to 15 minutes in the sun 3 times a week is often sufficient. However, a vitamin D deficiency is more common than is commonly thought.
People who do not get out enough (think of the elderly in particular) or people with a dark skin color often need some extra vitamin D3. This also applies to pregnant women and nursing mothers.
