Exchanges and returns

You can return your product(s) within 14 days of receiving your order, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. After receiving and inspecting the returned items, and if they meet all return conditions, we will refund the amount within 14 days using the same payment method used for the purchase.

Exchanges

Exchanging items is not possible. This means you cannot return a product and receive a replacement product in exchange. If you wish to exchange an item, you can return your purchase and place a new order on the website.

Returns

If you ordered through Bol.com or Decathlon, please only register your return in their portal. The processing fee for a return is €6.95. This amount will be deducted from your order refund.

Why we have adjusted our return fees

Dear customers,
Last summer, we at MKBM went through a difficult period. We were in dire straits and on the verge of closing our doors. When we investigated the causes, we found that our return policy had a significant impact on our costs.

In the Netherlands, we are obliged to refund the full shipping costs to customers when they return their order. For every order we ship, we pay €7.04 in shipping costs. The customer pays €5.95, but after deducting €1.03 VAT, we only receive €4.92 of this. This means that for every order, we pay €2.12 out of our own pocket.

When a customer decides to return an order, we have to refund the €5.95 shipping costs to the customer. In addition, we pay €7.04 in shipping costs for the outward shipment and another €2.50 in return costs to our shipping agency. This means that for every complete return, we lose €9.54.

Furthermore, for a long time, we offered free shipping on orders over €50. This meant that for these orders, we bore the full €7.04 shipping costs ourselves. All in all, these costs have put immense pressure on our company, and last year we incurred extremely high expenses.

To ensure that MKBM can continue to exist, we are forced to charge €6.95 in return costs from now on. After deducting VAT (€1.21), €5.74 remains for us. This means that for each return, we still pay €3.80 out of our own pocket.

We understand that this is a change, but we hope for your understanding. We ask you to pay extra attention to sizing when placing an order and, also with the environment in mind, to order and return as few unnecessary duplicate sizes as possible.

Conditions for returns:

  • The product is in its original packaging;
  • The product is unworn and/or unopened;
  • Trying on is allowed, but the hygiene strip must still be on the product.

Products that cannot be returned:

  • Opened packaging;
  • Damaged products;
  • Products with broken seals (for health and/or hygiene reasons);
  • Digital and online products.

We advise you to keep your Track & Trace information until your return has been processed.

Processing returns

We aim to process your return within 14 days. During busy periods, such as Black Friday, it may take longer.
